Genting Highlands, Malaysia | JUL 2015

by - July 19, 2015

After much contemplation and planning, we'd finally made the decision to drive up to Genting Highlands. We parked at the cable car station halfway, and took the cable car up for the rest of the journey. The line was very long, and it was already 3.30pm. Hence, we bought the express ticket which cost like RM30+ each just for one way. Yes, we spent a lot for the cable car, but at least we saved up a lot of time, since we were already pretty late. Haha.

It has been a very long time since I last sat on a cable car. It took me a couple of minutes before getting used to it again. Was feeling a bit nervous and frightened initially, but enjoyed it throughout the rest of the journey. We first stopped by KFC upon arriving to get a very late lunch/tea meal before proceeding our leisure time around Genting.

As much as I wished that the indoor rides are still operating, there were only 2 slow rides, the scary house and Snow world. They had taken down the indoor roller coaster ride, which was one of my favorites, the boat ride as well as the marry-go-round which made the entire place so much livelier. Hopefully when the new theme park has been completed, it would be way better than the previous one, and I hope that it would be soon! Speaking of the theme park, it looks like this now:

Can't wait to see the outcome of the new theme park! Apparently it's going to be based on the 20th Fox thing, which I don't know how to explain it. Haha.

We then spent the rest of the evening outdoor enjoying the cool breeze. Genting Highlands is no longer as cold as it used to be. When we were there yesterday, it was only 24'C and the jacket that I brought was totally useless. We were feeling so warm and I started to sweat when we were walking around indoors. It's either the weather had changed, or we grew up to be more resistant towards the cold air. Haha.

Thank you very much, Boo, for fulfilling my wish, and braved through the jam as well as the windy roads going up and down hill. You're the best <3
